Tenochtitlan is the original name of Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. After conquering the Aztecs in 1521, the Spaniards built catholic cathedrals over the Aztec temples. The Spaniards built one over the Templo Mayor at Tenochtitlan.

Recently, Tenochtitlan was rediscovered. Through passionate style and culturally significant lyrics, Tenochtitlan, the artist, is helping the great city rise again!

Tenochtitlan is loyal to her people. She hopes to solicit positive change through her musical efforts.

“We walked the land like royalty, with pride and respect, and with a reverence for every living thing,” Tenochtitlan said.

“We need that today.”
