Twiz the Beat Pro is an articulate, diligent and highly-motivated producer. He was born July 28, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. Twiz was introduced to hip-hop at an early age by his older brother and would secretly listen to tapes (primarily of the "Parental Advisory" sort) banned by his parents. He developed a love for music and quickly became a fan of hip-hop.

In 1992, Twiz's family relocated to the shores of Great Britain. There, he acquired his first set of belt driven turntables and adopted the name DJ Twiz. Twiz would DJ locally at various parties and pubs in exchange for free alcohol and treats.

In 2000, DJ Twiz officially became Twiz the Beat Pro after purchasing his first sampler, the ASR X, his weapon of choice. Twiz currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues to refine his craft and further a career in music as an innovative and passionate producer.
